Research Experience

  • Conducted extensive exploration of the Saraswati River palaeochannels and sample collection under the supervision of the Director, Centre of Excellence for Research on the Saraswati River (CERSR).
  • Geological field mapping and morphotectonic analysis to quantify seismic characteristics of the Himalayan frontal terrain.
  • Identification of active faults and paleoseismic evidence in the Himalayan frontal terrain using remote sensing and field surveys.
  • Development of lithological, geomorphological, drainage, and thematic maps using topographic data, satellite imagery, and DEM in ArcGIS and other software.
  • Correlated active tectonic and neotectonic activities using Optically Stimulated Luminescence (OSL) dating and GIS techniques.
